The Bois Dieu Chapel, located in the town of Lissieu near Lyon, has just undergone a full-scale restoration, from its stained-glass windows to its walls, ceiling and vaults.
Last but not least came lighting the 1695 chapel. Tourelloise d’électricité, together with Mat’Electrique, ably accomplished that task without encountering any major difficulties, says project manager Philippe Rabastel. “Bringing out the best of the architectural heritage is always very satisfying,” he adds.
Robert Rustant, Deputy Mayor of Lissieu and responsible for town buildings, shares that sense of fulfillment: “The result is magnificent and its impact considerable,” he says enthusiastically. “The town’s citizens embraced the project right from the start, although we never thought so many people would show up at the inauguration.” The success convinces him that choosing Mat’Electrique - and its professionals Guy Marchi, Lighting Service Assistant, and Ludovic David, Technical Adviser in achitectural Lighthing - was the right decision. “I knew the company by reputation,” he says, “but I must say that their showroom and the advice they gave us were major factors in our choice. What’s more, the welcome we got from Mat’Electrique associates was as friendly as it was professional.”
