In September 2006, the official inauguration ceremony of SLO Latvia's new head office and central warehouse was held at Maleju Iela's industrial estate in Riga.. The central warehouse is over 2,000 square metres in size and consists of over 800 pallet spaces, 1,500 small goods spaces, area dedicated to long items as well as cable storage. Additionally, the central warehouse has an outside area of 7,000 square metres at its disposal. This new complex also houses an over-the-counter sales outlet and premises for the head office.
The ribbon cutting ceremony was officiated by Sonepar Finland's managing director, Tapio Jouhki (centre) and by SLO Latvia's managing director Girts Pekals (left) and assisted by SLO Baltic's director Pekka Syrjäkari.
