Sonepar Deutschland

Brand quality, flawless

On March 1, 2007, Sonepar Deutschland sounded the starting gun for the Sonepar Deutschland Brand Quality Campaign. Working closely with brand-name manufacturers in the electrical industry, Sonepar Deutschland is challenging private-label merchandise and lesser quality goods. Strong manufacturers who agree with this idea and are willing to support this concept will be working with Sonepar Deutschland to send a clear quality message to consumers.


A brand is distinguished by reliability, quality and continuity. Those are values that apply not only to the products our partners manufacture, but to your favorite electrical wholesaler, as well. Sonepar Deutschland sets itself apart from its competitors with its special qualities in customer information, with its employee qualification programs, its employees’ expertise and special services. A brand always represents something quite special, and the Sonepar Deutschland Brand Quality Campaign will emphasize what makes our brand partners unique and special and ultimately more valuable for customers. Serving as a recognition element, the Brand Quality Campaign “logo”, is a diamond. It will appear – together with the slogan “Sonepar Deutschland: Brand quality. Flawless.” – on all advertising materials and communications.

Sonepar Deutschland started the Brand Quality Campaign by publishing a catalog dedicated especially to this topic. The catalog shows exclusively products made by suppliers who vigorously support the Sonepar Deutschland Brand Quality Campaign. Included here is not the particular supplier’s entire range, but rather a jointly defined selection of products, and they are the only ones featured in the catalog.

The products in the Sonepar Deutschland Brand Quality Campaign are to be kept in stock continuously at all the central warehouses and branch locations in Germany. Sonepar Deutschland guarantees 24-hours delivery for these products.

The Sonepar Deutschland Brand Quality Campaign was introduced to customers in commerce, the trades and industry for the first time during the Partners’ Meeting for the Sonepar Deutschland Southern Region. A special booth in Augsburg featured the diamond, the symbol for the Sonepar Deutschland Brand Quality Campaign. The oversized version seen there was a real eye-catcher at the Sonepar Deutschland booth. Participating manufacturers were identified by glass diamonds displayed prominently at their own stands. Distribution teams handed out the Sonepar Deutschland brand catalogs to visitors. A moderator at the Sonepar Deutschland stand told visitors about the subject and interviewed suppliers’ representatives. In the foreground during those talks were the brands themselves and the advantages our customers obtain from these products.

The Sonepar Deutschland Brand Quality Campaign will continue to draw attention in coming weeks and months. The next steps will be extensive online advertising campaigns, joint marketing efforts to support tradespeople in their advertising, campaigns at branch locations, special information publications for employees and training sessions.
