The winner of the award for environmental electrical solutions which Elettroingross, Sonepar Italia’s subsidiary, has organized last June in occasion of ElettroINcontro, the first forum for the operators of the electrical sector of the North-East of Italy, has been Elettropiemme srl.
Its installation project called “3S” which stands for Sincro Sun System, has been judged by the jury of experts of the University of Padova the best one among those in contest for three main reasons : the high production of alternative energy, the respect of the environment and the considerable energy saving of its technology.

Massimo Pegoretti, the son of the owner of this company which was founded more than 40 years ago among the Italian Alps, explains the characteristics of the installation. “Have you ever seen a field of sunflowers? This system of turning photovoltaic panels following the sun imitates the natural movement of sunflowers as it automatically keeps the surface of the panels always perpendicular to the sun rays; in terms of energy production, this means an increase of 35-40% on an annual basis if compared to a fixed installation of equal power.”
The acknowledgement of the value of this prototype for the production of electrical energy through the photovoltaic technology is part of a relationship between Elettroingross and Elettropiemme which lasts since many years, a relationship made of mutual esteem and collaboration.
“Do you want to know which is the potential of the sun in our country?” has asked Massimo Pegoretti slightly provokingly to its audience in his speech after the delivery of the 1st prize from the hands of the president of the Province of Padova. “If we installed in our country solar photovoltaic panels in a surface of less than 1% of the national territory, then we could produce the 100% of the national electrical needs”.
