Milan Vokatý, General Manager of Brema, a customer of Elektram, the Czech subsidiary of Sonepar Deutschland, reports on the partnership between Brema and Elektram, using the project of the Prague Airport as an example for a reliable collaboration.
Since January 17th, 2006, the Terminal North 2 of the Prague Airport has been opened for passengers. A high safety factor, modern technology and impressive architecture describes the new building which increases the number of check-ins from 6.5 million to 10 million passenger per year.
Brema Ltd. took part in building-up the connection between the new Terminal and the existing ones. Ing. Milan Vokatý describes the tasks: “We had several things to do: One one hand there was the reconstruction of the engine room for central heating and air-conditioning. Then there was a lot of lights and cable conduits to install, and Switchboards of our own production were implemented.”
“With Elektram we work together since 1994. What we really appreciate is the logistics approach when articles urgently needed are delivered directly to the building site. For Terminal 2, all the ordered electrical material we ordered material was always delivered in time. In addition, technical expertise was also very helpful as we had some difficult technical challenges to face within this project,” says Milan Vokatý. The good relationship between Elektram and Brema has been build on reliability. The General Manager explains: “The main reason for us to work with Elektram is their aim to solve problems: no matter if we talk about emergency deliveries, about additional materials which are mostly available in the central warehouse, everyday delivery or the willingness of the staff to surprise us with additional services which were not expected or asked for.”
“Our collaboration is on such a high level that I would like to call it a real partnership. The co-operation with Elektram has given us savings of time and money. We are looking to continue this partnership into the future, Milan Vokatý, the General Manager sums up.
