A time to make friends at Sonepar
More than 13,000 visitors traveled to Hanover on May 13th and 14th. 80 busses ferried visitors from the branches to the fairground. The Sonepar Deutschland people offered a diversified program: beside product information from suppliers, Sonepar’s services were presented at their own booths. The e-Business booth, where easypro, (the on-line buying platform, Scan-IT the mobile scanner and eas-y, (marketing platform for installers) were presented were visited by many people.
Every hour special seminars took place in the convention center near the fairground. The bargain booth – nearly an institution at the Sonepar Deutschland fairs, had many visitors as always, so many that it was nearly picked clean when the fair came to the end.
Another 6,000 people in Holzwickede
One week after Hanover, the Region West invited their customers to Holzwickede near Dortmund.
130 manufacturers presented their highlight products in an area of about 5,000 square meters across from the central warehouse. The Sonepar Deutschland people have perfected a unique seminar program for installers. Contrary to seminars for common products the Sales Academy* focuses on the installer’s the management and sales skills. Beside classical themes such as time management and conflict management, other topics like leadership, sales training and customer orientation are highlighted.
*The "Sales Academy" is the name of a special training program Sonepar Deutschland offers their customers. It is about management skills.
