Almost 300 people (branch managers, administrative executives, Sonepar guests and partners), including Marie-Christine Coisne-Roquette, Chairman and CEO of Sonepar, had responded to the invitation made to them by the CGE D’s general management.
The major theme of this convention was: innovation, a huge programme and a huge challenge!
The plenary sessions were divided into 3 parts:
- The first part was devoted to an evaluation of CGE D's activities since the last convention in Saint Domingue, i.e. since the end of 2002.
- The second part looked at the issue of INNOVATION, thereby highlighting the major paths to growth for our group in terms of innovations.
- The third part was devoted to the men and women of CGE D
90 CGE D associates were very involved thanks to their active participation in the “brainstorming” meetings organised on the theme of innovation.
The aim of these meetings was to enable participants to express how they saw innovation, both within the company and in everyday life.
These friendly discussions, involving associates from every background (different regions and functions) enabled the impact of innovation on the environment to be considered, as well as information processing techniques, commercial practices, business and organisation, and to measure once again just how involved the employees are in the dynamics of the company CGE D.
The theme of innovation also inspired our close partners who explained how they see innovation working in their own groups.
