Appointment: Pierre-Jean Clerval, Executive Vice-President of Sonepar

We are pleased to announce to you that as of January 1st, 2007, Pierre-Jean Clerval, Managing Director of Sonepar Atlantique, a region of Sonepar France, will be joining Sonepar SA General Management as Executive Vice-President. He will be reporting directly to Frank H. Lakerveld and François Poncet.

As of the beginning of 2007, Pierre-Jean Clerval will have both operational and support responsibilities:

• Under his operational responsibilities, he will be in charge of supervising Latin America, Russia and Romania.
  
• His support responsibilities, on behalf of the General Management, will involve managing and developing some of the international committees to make them more dynamic and more efficient.

He will also participate in some Group projects, working with the General Management.
