“We decided to redevelop our premises in a space twice as large as the previous one—that is, a total area of 25,000 sq. ft. Getting the place set up took us barely over a month, thanks to the active participation of all 24 members of the Lumen team. Our self-service branch is now the largest Lumen sales outfit in the whole Montreal area,” said Anjou branch manager Stéphane Deschâtelets.
A white ceiling and scintillating lighting serve to highlight 28 gondolas filled with more than 5,000 different products. A mezzanine was built to include a glazed conference room overlooking the warehouse, which gives an exceptional overview of the premises.
“With this new open space counter concept and improved lighting, customers can shop conveniently, select the items they want from expanded product ranges and get a look at all the latest products and current promotions,” explained Claude Bérubé, an electrical contractor and Lumen customer.
Buidling contractor Roland Michaud claims that the equipment is now displayed more effectively and that is now easier to find a parking space near the branch, which can save a considerable amount of time.
