In mid-February 2007 SLO Latvia SIA arranged its traditional daylong electrical winter fair. This time the venue was Kekava conference hall in Riga. New and old electrical products on offer within the industry as well as novelty technologies were the themes for the day. The event was not a public event but catered for the industry's professionals – electrical contractors and designers in particular. This year over 40 suppliers had their goods on display and over 400 guests visited the various exhibition stalls.
The popularity of the electrical seminar, complimentary to the actual exhibition, came as a bit of a surprise as there were more potential audience than the venue could hold. Undoubtedly it was the versatile and absorbing seminar programme that generated this unprecedented interest. Expert speakers' seminar topics covered - amongst other things - the latest in lighting technologies, remote control heating systems, etc.
