In one of the year’s highlights, marketing hosted a sales & marketing seminar on September 20 and 21. This annual meeting provided an opportunity to encourage discussion among 350 sales professionals and 50 partners and to foster group-wide emulation.
The event began in the afternoon with a full session devoted exclusively to CGE D employees, allowing them to take stock of the year and get an outline of our objectives and business and marketing strategy.
Building on successful experiences over the last six years, the goal was to:
• Help all sales professionals get to know CGE D better.
• Spur discussion among employees.
• Present new projects and underscore successes.
• Finish up with the new promotion in France.
To make the two-day marketing seminar motivational and educational, CGE D set up supplier stands and offered presentations to outline the latest products and services for sales professionals. “The fact that our preferred partners-suppliers were there helped to improve people’s understanding of the offering’s position and to promote products to end-users. The main goal was to spur lots of discussion and create a setting in which partners and sales professionals from all over France could meet,” says Laurent Bouveresse, CGE D’s Managing Director.
