SLO, a subsidiary of Sonepar Finland, shall host several LED-workshops in its offices in various parts of Finland throughout this spring to help electrical designers and contractors gain some valuable hands-on experience on the art of illumination as well as on the latest newcomer in the industry: LED-lighting.
The know-how side of things is covered by LED-experts from SLO's top suppliers. In addition to the actual products, energy savings achievable with LEDs and the numerous lighting choices are the focus of discussion and demonstrations.
Each LED-workshop is completed by a practical exercise wherein the participants are asked to "paint" a chosen building façade or a similarly suitable place. Without exception, the feedback from workshop participants has been positive. The fact that the workshops have 'lowered the threshold' to LED-lighting design and implementation has been deemed particularly helpful. In other words, the workshops have fulfilled their objective well.
