SLO Estonia's new sales outlet and enlarged central warehouse in Tallinn were taken into use this June. The central warehouse complex now comprises 4,135 m² of covered storage space as well as a 1.5 hectare yard. There are over 1800 pallet spaces and approximately 10 000 stocked product titles.
According to SLO Estonia's managing director, Pekka Syrjäkari, the company is implementing a new warehouse management system alongside the expansion, which shall enhance the goods reception, collection, dispatch as well as inventory taking - so in practise the entire repertoire of the company's warehouse operations will be given a boost.
"I am certain that the new central warehouse and warehouse management system will enable us to optimise our service to customers and also to achieve the high level of delivery reliability that we have set as our target," he says.
