Sonepar is pleased to announce that the Sacchi Group has entered today into an agreement to acquire Demo SpA, a market sector leader operating mainly in the Northern regions of Italy. The agreement is subject to the approval of Italy’s Competition Authority. This acquisition will reinforce Sonepar leadership on the Italian B2B Electrical Distribution market to building and industry customers.

Founded in 1997, Demo S.p.A., is based in Casale Monferrato and recorded an annual turnover of 118 M€ thanks to its 300 associates. Demo currently has 36 branches and a 24,000 sq. m logistics hub. Demo has always based its business on a number of main core values including a commitment to efficient customer service and passion for business, all of which have made the company successful and a firm point of reference in the area both for its customers and its suppliers.
