Last summer in the city of Linkoping, Sweden, a very powerful bomb explosion destroyed two apartment buildings injuring dozens of people. The reconstruction of the buildings began a little while after all the necessary investigations were closed. The devastation was extensive and therefore it took time to prepare clear away the debris before work was able to begin. Elektroskandia delivered all electrical equipment to their customer Tornby El, who are responsible for all electrical installation work and who were on site at an early stage.
Speaking about working on such a project, Oscar Bezelius, an electrician for Tornby El said, "It was quite an experience for me to come to for the first time and see all the shattered glass and cracked walls, that's when it started to sink in what actually happened. But during the time that I've been working, it's become more and more like a normal repair project. You learn to come to terms with it after a while."
Oscar added how smoothly reconstruction ran, thanks in no small part to Elektroskandia by saying, "The working relationship with Elektroskandia is running smoothly as usual. It's great to know the materials will always be here the day after we order them, there's never any lag."
