From a dusty warehouse in Paris to a world number one, Sonepar has come a long way in 50 years, and it is celebrating by launching a major content campaign.


So this is 50 – from its foundation in 1969 to a global Group employing 46,000 people around the world and generating more than 22 billion euros in annual turnover, Sonepar has thrived due to a spirit of independence, family, entrepreneurship, and respect for local business practices. Sonepar is celebrating its amazing 50-year adventure with a major content campaign featuring videos, animations, articles and testimonials from staff, clients and suppliers. 

The curtain rises on Tuesday, April 30th, with the debut of a special anniversary film. All anniversary content will be shared on a dedicated section of, called 50 YEARS.
