After the Technical Division conducting numerous studies to find the most energy efficient LED lighting solutions, on-site tests were carried out in order to finalize the best products for the project.

Perched on top of a hill in the heart of the village of Montcuq-en-Quercy-Blanc sits a 24 metre-high Medeival tower, the town's emblem.

Last month, the CGED branch in Cahors and the Centre Atlantiques Pyrénées’s Technical Division were contracted by the Town Hall of Montcuq-en-Quercy-Blanc to not only help in replacing the iodide headlamps that light up the tower, but to also "bring the tower to life!"

After the Technical Division conducting numerous studies to find the most energy efficient LED lighting solutions, on-site tests were carried out in order to finalize the best products for the project. The Cahors branch then provided equipment which included TonekKolor projectors, power cables, DMX cables, control cabinets and much more...

The team also configured the installation to store various lighting variation programs, to suit different town events such as Bastille Day, local village festivals, Telethon, and the twinning with the Italian villages of San Giorgio della Richinvelda and Ciningiano.
