Throughout this global pandemic, Routeco colleagues have been using their furloughed time to volunteer and help their local communities, support the NHS or just generally help their neighbors. Chris Chadwick registered with the UK Royal Voluntary Service to help people who are more vulnerable, or who cannot perform a task easily for themselves, or simply just to reduce loneliness. Chris has volunteered over 730 hours and is now back at work but is still supporting in the evening.

Some of the tasks Chris undertakes are; shopping three or four times a week for the elderly, phone conversations to reduce loneliness, dog walking and running errands for the vulnerable. Well done Chris and thank you so much for supporting your local community. You’re an example to us all.
