These goals address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice. The 17 Goals are all interconnected, and in order to leave no one behind, it is important that all organisations aim achieve them all by 2030.

Sonepar Ibérica strives to be a socially responsible and sustainable company, and their current focuses are on Good Health and Well-Being, and Education. One of the measures they have implemented to promote health and safety in the workplace, is to hire a team of specialists to educate employees on how to avoid accidents in the workplace. Associates also have access to the Sonepar Ibérica Wellness Program, where they're given advice on health and wellness in the workplace, and can even meet with a psychologist if necessary.

Regarding Education, Sonepar Ibérica have implemented the Associate Program (Programa Emplea), which improves the employability of young people. Every year, more than 150 students are given internships within the company, and furthermore, the most driven students are eligible to enter the Young Talent Program (Programa Jóvenes Talentos), which provides scholarships to help further their education. For associates already within Sonepar, they can apply to the Company Training Plan (Plan Formativo de la empresa) offers multiple and diverse trainings to their staff. Their commitment goes even further as they have created dozens of webinars and technical seminars which all their customers can access.​​
