Automatic sensor technology increases visual comfort and helps you cut back power costs. Thanks to connected lighting, you can manage all your facilities and develop tailored scenarios.
The connected home
We offer cutting-edge home automation products and systems. They enable you to control heating, rolling shutters, alarms and garage doors either locally or remotely from your smartphone or tablet.
We help you optimize energy use in buildings with eco-efficient equipment, automatic motion and heat sensors, and tools for measuring and analyzing consumption.
Smart lighting - Melbourne Central Tower · SLS
The Melbourne Central Tower is a 46-floor office building with enough parking for 850 cars. SLS assisted the building manager with overhauling the lighting system. A key objective was reducing energy waste. From design to installation, SLS took charge of the project, advising and supplying the most suitable products at every step of the way. For example, the inclusion of motion sensors has made it possible to operate lighting in low-energy standby mode when areas have been vacated. Ideal for use in low-consumption areas such as fire stairs and service corridors, the fittings have led to a 93% reduction in energy use.
Building management - Energy Lab 2.0 · Sonepar Deutschland
This lab at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) is devoted to the energy transition. In cooperation with the Jülich Research Center (FZJ) and the German Aeronautical and Aerospace Center (DLR), the lab has developed a smart platform, i.e., a network of installations connecting electric, thermal and chemical flows with digital technology. In 2018,
Sonepar Deutschland will supply and deliver the power control panels for part of this ambitious program after conferring with the lab’s technical staff on scaling the equipment.
