From March 30 - April 1, 2026, Sonepar took part in ChangeNOW, the world’s largest event dedicated to solutions for the planet. Held in Paris, the event brought together companies, institutions, and innovators committed to accelerating the environmental and energy transition. Sonepar’s participation reflects its ambition to play an active role in shaping more sustainable practices across the electrical distribution sector, in line with its Purpose, Powering Progress for Future Generations.
Driving Sustainable Solutions Across the Value Chain
During ChangeNOW, Jessica Lam, SVP Sustainability at Sonepar, announced two major initiatives designed to accelerate the promotion and adoption of sustainable solutions in the electrical distribution sector. These initiatives aim to support customers, suppliers, and partners in making more responsible choices, while contributing to the broader transformation of the industry.
A roundtable discussion titled “Engaging all Stakeholders across the Value Chain” highlighted the importance of collective action and collaboration to turn sustainability commitments into measurable impact. By bringing together diverse perspectives, Sonepar reaffirmed its role as a trusted partner in enabling more sustainable electrical solutions.
Learning Expedition Focused on the Energy Transition
Another highlight of ChangeNOW was the Sonepar Learning Expedition. On this occasion, several members of Sonepar’s leadership team met with startups that are committed to the energy transition. These exchanges provided valuable insights into emerging technologies, new business models, and innovative approaches that can help accelerate sustainable progress.
Participants in the Learning Expedition included President and CEO Philippe Delpech, Chief Transformation Officer Jérémie Profeta, Chief People and Engagement Officer Sara Biraschi Rolland, President Europe Jérôme Malassigne, and Chief Communications Officer Matt Pothecary. Through direct dialogue with entrepreneurs and innovators, Sonepar leaders explored how collaboration with the startup ecosystem can support long-term value creation for customers and society.
