Sonepar has acquired Grup Carol, a company specialized in the B2B distribution of industrial products and services, automation and datacom.
Founded in 1976, the Carol Group, a reference in the industrial distribution in Catalonia, with 6 branches in the province of Barcelona, recorded sales of 34 million euros in 2024.
With a team of 95 associates, including a group of specialized technical engineers Grup Carol provides service and expert advice in industrial products & services, datacom, automation, electrical material, robotics and lighting for industries, engineering firms, installers, maintenance and manufacturers of industrial machinery.
This acquisition will enable Sonepar strengthen its Industry Solutions business unit in the Catalan market, a geographical area with a strong presence of the industrial sector and with many opportunities to grow.
